From Ortofon, a company that takes its name from the Greek words for “accurate” (“orthos”) and “sound” (“phon”), the EC7S earphone cable delivers just that. It makes a great upgrade or replacement cable for your Shure or Westone IEMs, and comes equipped with a gold-plated MMCX-type brass connector, a silver-plated OFC conductor, and a rigid aluminum plug body. Without changing your music’s sound signature dramatically, these quality materials result in a slightly clearer treble and midrange, a more tightly controlled bass, and improved precision throughout. Finally, a braided nylon sleeve starts below the Y split and keeps the cable from tangling while in transit.
